6 After 60

A celebration of accomplishment! Nominate someone Silver you know in the Top 6 after 60 annual awards. These individuals are high achievers who have and continue to be a part of building the future. They are entrepreneurs, innovators, artists, philanthropists, volunteers, and teachers who make a meaningful difference in their area of expertise. They are the not-so-young movers and shakers.

To be eligible for consideration in the Top 6 after 60, nominees must be over 60. They are the brightest and best in the city – using their vast storehouse of knowledge and experience, they give back to the community and elevate the city through their work, inspiring others to join them in a movement for change from "success to significance."

The Six Categories for consideration are:

Volunteer Civic Engagement: An outstanding individual who has given back to our community through volunteerism and civic engagement.

Entrepreneurism: For individuals who have started a successful new business venture after 60.

Education: For individuals who have made an impact in the community through education and continue to impact those they guide.

Philanthropy: For individuals whose philanthropic efforts have resulted in meaningful and lasting change.

Health and Welfare: Individuals who have significantly impacted the community through their work as caregivers, medical or social professionals.

The Arts: Individuals who have succeeded in the arts (music, dance, painting, sculpture, etc.).

The nomination process is easy. All we need is the nominee's name, title, phone number, email address, and an explanation as to why you think they should be named one of this year's Top 6 after 60. We'll take it from there to get the information we need directly from the individual you nominate. Then, our judging panel, made up of community leaders and the Experience Group, reviews the nominees and selects each category's winner.
